Listerine Solution

Remember in "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" when the dad used windex for all his aliments? My mom read, on the internet, that Listerine makes a wonderful (and cheap) mosquito spray. So she brought 3 bottles of generic Listerine (original and minty fresh) to the cabin along with every spray bottle she has gone through in the last year. She filled all the spray bottles with Listerine and scattered them around the cabin, deck, and yard.
Isn't my mom cute?
There was always a bottle of what looked like window cleaner, shower disinfectant, 409, or garden sprayer near by to use for the mosquitoes. I believed her when she swore that it worked, but I think she was the only one who used them because the rest of us would rather smell like Deep Woods Off than listerine.
Notice all the smoke in the mountains behind mom and Alan? That is from the Crouch 4th of July Celebration. It lasts all day.

Two days ago Noah and Ike were assigned window washing in response to a little tiff they were involved in. All the windows that Noah washed looked horrible. I accused him of not doing the job, he defensively defended himself. I made him do them all again, they looked worse the second and even 3rd time! Finally, we figured out that he was using one of mom's Listerine filled windex bottles.

Totally funny. The pictures of Mom spraying Alan are great! And poor Noah. Innocently working hard on those windows.

Linda is cute. Alan has no tushie. I want to know if it works or not... and if it does, are you sticky? (We used a bug spray that stings last night, not so pleasant on little people.)

The window story is funny. My windows look bad after my kids do chores, but that is because they use so much window cleaner they are wiping with a sopping wet blue paper towel. Oh well, they try.
