FHE Dog Pile

Typical FHE at the Smith house:Ike gets ready to jump on the dog pile.
Noah and Ike together weigh more than 300 lbs. Look how big Noah's head is. Note the laundry on the floor.

Everyone sang "I Hope They Call Me On a Mission" off key.

Sigh.

That's got to be good for Roland's back.

At our house, Nathan sang "Nephi's Courage" like a rock star. I am afraid he will be a rock star some day because he can't stand to sing any other way.

The laundry on your floor gave me an idea: folding laundry would be an excellent FHE activity.

I'd take a picture of our FHE, but I'm sure you can picture the kids and Jeff sitting on the sofa while I do the dinner dishes. I'm going to hell.

Does singing "Ring around the Rosie" while the baby screams and spins around as fast as she can before she falls down count as FHE? If not, I'm screwed. Flay thinks playing Halo 3 while the 3 year-old watches should count. For some reason I am not OK with that one.

Our last FHE Steve read a conference and I was sure no one was listening but then he got to a part where it talked about not "controling" your children but "listening" to them. They all piped right up with "yeah!", "who gave that talk?", and "I hope you and mom are going to do that more!". So now when Steve is talking to the kids he'll say something and then if they complain he adds "it's because we LISTEN to you now and we don't try to CONTROL you". Be careful what you wish for with FHE, they just might be listening! Julie

Good thing Ruby Jane isn't on the pile or Roland would collapse under the additional weight.

Completely awesome. That's the way it should be!
