Christmas 2011:
We spent the week before Christmas in a cabin at the Spring Mountain Ranch in Rocky Mountian National Park. We did lots of reading and game playing but there were lots of activities too!
Hannah and Gabe made some Christmas presents at the Leather Working station.
Noah, Roland, and I threw some pots. Noah's turned out best.
(Hey, where are the pictures of me throwing a pot?)
Ike made a belt buckle for Grandpa Alan
We went star gazing on a horse drawn sleigh ride, complete with a campfire, marshmellows, and hot chocolate!
Ice skating, of course.
We planned to ski but the resorts only had man made snow :( so we snowmobiled instead!
Gabe
It was the first time snowmobiling as a family and we had such fun!
Lots of empty fields filled with never-touched powder.
Whoop!
I was the first one to fall off the snowmobile and was so happy to find out that it didn't hurt a bit!
Everyone fell off at least once.
We also had lunch at a hip restaurant in Denver.
Christmas:
Lots of delicious food! Jennie made tamales.
You haven't had tamales unless you've had Jennie's tamales!
Awesome.
Mom and Alan were there. And Mike, Chris, Jennie, and Katie joined us for Christmas Eve, where there was lots of singing.
It was awesome!
