Welcome to Music in the Nest! We will be featuring musical performances all week long! Drop by everyday and leave a little chocolate for our performers!
................
The first video is Noah playing at the Pike's Peak Young Composer's Competition Winner's Concert last Friday. He was the only winner in his category that was able to attended the concert and so his 2 compositions were the final performances of the concert.
I sat in the concert hall with tears brimming, feeling complete satisfaction as he played, flawlessly, the most beautiful music I have ever heard, the music my son wrote.

Absolutely beautiful! I am so glad you posted this because I have wanted to listen to a complete performance of his own composition.
Such lovely music makes me happy. Thank you Noah.

Beautiful! Henry sat on my lap and watched the whole thing, then clapped and clapped and clapped at the end. :)
oh my! that is beautiful!! i love it!! good job noah!
I'm sitting here wondering what it must be like to live in a house filled with beautiful music that your son writes and plays. So cool!
Amazing and beautiful. I can't wait for the rest of music week in the nest!
This is amazing! I'm sure you just feel awed at his beautiful music, his talent, his hard work, and dedication. I know I do.
I was thinking yesterday about how when he was really little we would sit and listen to songs he had "written". Who knew (you did!) that he would become this good!
Amazing! And he's going to be a Senior this year? There is greatness ahead for Noah and lots of joy and tears for Mom.
MOST impressive Noah. Most.
Oh Noah!! I'm geting my piano tuned next week so that when you come you'll give me an in-home concert!!
Oh Robin! Thanks your for blessing all of us by making music an important part of your family life! You should edit this post by saying Noah was the only winner able to attend because the concert was held a few weeks after the actual competitions and all the other composers had returned to their homes in others states and/or different countries, e.g. Juliard, N.Y & China.
the best we got around here is my 11 year old stepson plinking out the first 14 notes of "smoke on the water".
i'm a teense envious. i do, however, feel your pride. this was amazing.
That is SO amazing! Back when he was about 10, I heard a few of his own songs. He has come a long ways!Loved it! Great job, Noah!
