Have I told you how amazing my sisters are? They are wonderful.
Kristen is the middle child. She has a degree in Special Education and has a gift for helping others. She has 2 teenage boys, and she works full time as a property manager. She brags about her pool, looks great as a blond, and loves corny jokes.
Melissa is the sweet one, married to David, my brother. Melissa taught school before she was a mom, and she was and is an amazing teacher. Melissa is the mom we all want to be: patient, kind, cheerful, sweet, and attentive. She is a photographer, chef, excellent party planner, and mother of 5. We are all thrilled that she loves our brother.
Sally is the career woman turned full time mom. She has an MBA and is, in my mind, the most brainy. She reads news magazines, has well informed opinions on politics and world issues, and she is extremely well traveled. She has three children under the age five.
Emily is the stylish one. She rocks any outfit. She listens to the coolest music. She has, by far, the best hair. She and her husband, Joe, are going to graduate school. He is working on his PhD in writing, and she is going for her Masters in Literature. She has 2 kids who spend most of their days singing and dancing.

Robin, thank you so much for your bc comment. Sometimes in this blogging world of "perfection" I forget that there are others out there that have some of the same struggles as I do. I feel a little more not quite so alone today. Thank you.
Yay for bossy sisters!
YAY! Bossy is fun. I think I should write a post about the actual story behind the name bossy--which might seem obvious, but there is an actual story. On the other hand, it's pretty short.
I'm Bossy. Just ask my kids.
I am going to check it out right now.
So excited. Does this mean Sally is actually going to write something?
Robin, I am totally going to copy this blog exactly, except I will put in a description of you and leave out the description of me...oh, by the way, I'm a brunette now. Who knew?!
I will copy it because you have an amazing talent for saying exactly what I want to say. Besides, then I can also have a blog update without having to make any real effort.
I am too lazy!
I'm excited to have another good blog to read.
ok robin - is it the hard core drugs or did I think you were totally trying to pull your 'bossy' sister as the princess of whales are whatever she is!!! she looks just like her!
you r so luck to have such great family!

I LOVED the Bossy sight! I laughed out loud at some of the comments. I don't do that often with blogs, big smiles, yes, laugh out loud, no. You have great, imaginative sisters and they are lucky to have you as their sister. I'll check it as often as your blog which is almost every day!
woo hoo! I like it!
Awesome Blog ... go Austin Women!
I agree, it is a great blog...I think I left a comment there as well. I will have to add it to my list. What a great collaboration of women.
