Colorado National Monument

Colorado National Monument doesn't look like much from the freeway that runs through southern Colorado. But it is a beautiful park that reminded me of the Grand Canyon and Arches National Park. While we were in Grand Junction for the piano contest we went to the Monument and it was almost the highlight of the trip!

Roland and Ike on our Canyon Rim hike. The trail went right along the edge of a very deep canyon and I was nervous. Ike kept throwing rocks off the canyon edge.

Me and my boys.

Ike just loves carrying Noah around when he gets tired.

Roland's cousins, John and Linda, and Aunt Doris took us out to lunch and then came to Noah's winner concert that evening. We enjoyed hanging out with them.

mom kept on freaking out when i pointed out how easy it would be to drive off of the edge in some parts of the canyon. it was very entertaining.

You like to live on the edge.

Thanks for connecting me to your friend. You are too kind.

Noah, don't freak your mom out like that. It's mean. That's your dad's job.

That canyon looks beautiful!

I'm so glad Noah is doing so well! Go Noah! But Sally is right, stop bugging her about being concerned for your safety! Robin, you are looking hot girl!
