Roland had a little "procedure" done to his foot yesterday. He told me NOT to say it is a hammer toe surgery. So.
I wish I had the x-ray to show you the pin that goes all down his toe and sticks out the end. So gross. He is on pain killers that make him a little loopy. As I left the house to workout this morning (yes! I have been doing this for 15 months now - sorry, I just love to talk about me) I begged him not to email people, he was saying goofy things and I didn't want him to embarrass himself - or me.
I came home to find this:
One lap top - logged onto outlook, 2 remote controls, and 3 phones.Can't touch this.

No no no.... don't touch that! Has to be very painful. Let me know if he needs more remotes and I'll send him 2 or 3 more.

Roland, Roland, Roland. I am so sorry for him. Too bad he's not in Boise near his mother-in-law's personal Rx cabinet. I know he likes to tease me about that. I'll bet he's got a bigger stash than I do. I hope so. Foot surgery is supposed to mean a really nasty recovery for everyone over the age of 20. Glad he's tough.

I like that he has all of his equipment lined up so carefully on the arm of the couch. Kristen is right. He doesn't convalesce well.

Love "Hammer Time", but I bet "Hammer Toe" is not so great. Hopefully you can wear the parachute pants and dance and sing about it soon.
